JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for reviewing ownership changes and updating division of interests and division orders, setting-up new well division of interests, reviewing title opinion requirements, coordinating new well set-ups, preparing state escheat reports and reconciling payments, resolving title disputes and suspense items, processing gas contracts, and analyzing and calculating interests. 


  1. Review assignments, deeds, trusts, probate documents, affidavit of heirships, and court orders that affect ownership changes; update division of interests and issue revised division orders.
  2. Set-up new well division of interests based on title opinions and pay sheets; prepare and issue division orders.
  3. Review title opinion requirements for company impact; secure curative documents from owners, operators, landmen and attorneys prior to distribution of revenue.
  4. Coordinate new well setups with gas representatives, accounting, and operators.
  5. Prepare annual state escheat reports and reconcile payments for each state; research owners for escheat and perform due diligence; file state reports and remit payments to states.
  6. Research and resolve title disputes and suspense items.
  7. Process multiple gas contracts for single wells using inflated decimals or burden based systems in compliance with the Oklahoma Production Revenue Sharing Act.
  8. Analyze and calculate working, overriding and royalty interests using lease and acreage data
  9. Perform related responsibilities as required or assigned.


Knowledge and Skill:

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products including word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Previous experience using Enertia Software preferred.
  • Working knowledge of division order revenue distribution software.
  • Excellent judgment and decision making skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate patience and care in handling inquiries from interest owners.
  • Knowledge of legal descriptions and land title documents.
  • Knowledge of basic division order concepts, estates, and calculating decimal interest.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team based environment.

Required Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Five to seven years of directly related experience.

Holland Services is actively contracting with Division Order Analyst professionals in the Oklahoma City and surrounding area.  The Division Order Analyst will establish and maintain the record title ownership of oil and gas properties to insure the accurate payment of royalty and working interest revenues, and the billing of well costs.

  • Execute knowledge as it pertains to counties surrounding the Oklahoma City area
  • Under limited oversight, analyzes and interprets ownership documents and title opinions for input and maintenance of ownership systems
  • Analyze title opinions, land contracts, operating agreements, oil and gas leases, broker reports, curative, well and regulatory documents, conveyances, probate and heir-ship data and other legal documents to determine ownership and lease burden relationships for production proceeds from oil and gas wells
  • Review, interpret and understand complex legal/title documents and agreements establishing ownership or supporting changes or transfers in ownership. (i.e. – able to perform a detailed analysis of title opinions, leases, farm-out agreements, assignments, AFE’s elections and joint operating agreements)
  • Gather, organize, calculate, establish, analyze, verify, and maintain accurate revenue and joint interest billing divisions of interest from title opinions, mineral ownership reports, curative documents, and various agreements
  • Assists with research, problem solving and other assigned special projects.


  • Reside in Oklahoma City or surrounding area
  • Minimum of 5 years of related Land or Title experience; or a bachelor’s degree accepted in combination with 3 years of related experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook Email and overall computer literacy
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptable to independent and team-based environments
  • Strong mathematical aptitude, problem solving and decision making 
  • Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced environment, under occasionally stressful conditions and meet deadlines as assigned
  • The ideal candidate will be organized in keeping folders and projects updated as well as understanding the need to communicate the status of same with your assigned POC and Project Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking candidates with oil and gas accounting/land experience to join our call center services team. Oildex provides owner and vendor relations call and email support services to several companies. These are typically work from home positions and all training/equipment is provided.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  •          Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and clients.
  •         Ability to multi-task between several critical client situations at the same time
  •        Ability to professionally interface with clients over the phone or through email.
  •          Strong self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently or with a team. 
  •          Strong organizational skills, sets priorities and meets deadlines.
  •          Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
  •          Preferred Bilingual in Spanish/English

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •         Answer incoming owner relations call regarding various issues, including: revenue, land, division orders, JIB, A/R, and A&P.
  •         Log owner inquiries in a case tracking system and follow-up on outstanding unresolved inquiries.
  •         Responds promptly to companies needs and adds value by building relationships and trust through client interactions and             manages difficult or emotional situations.


  •          2-5 years of industry related experience and/or training in the field of revenue accounting and/or land, JIB, A/P,                             regulatory, marketing, or production. 
  •         Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and various oil and gas software programs.
